Public Counsel

Public Counsel is a nonprofit public interest law firm dedicated to advancing civil rights and racial and economic justice, as well as to amplifying the power of its clients through comprehensive legal advocacy.

Founded on and strengthened by a pro bono legal service model, Public Counsel staff and volunteers seek justice through direct legal services, promote healthy and resilient communities through education and outreach, and support community-led efforts to transform unjust systems through litigation and policy advocacy in and beyond Los Angeles.

Public Counsel’s Community Development Project provides free legal assistance to low-income entrepreneurs, small business owners, and nonprofits serving low-income communities. Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles

Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles is a nonprofit law firm that protects and advances the rights of the most underserved – leveling the playing field and ensuring that everyone can have access to the justice system. Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles seeks to achieve equal justice for people living in poverty across Greater Los Angeles.

Legal Foundation of Los Angeles: Justice, Equity, Hope

Bet Tzedek

Bet Tzedek is a community organization that provides justice, stability, and hope to those experiencing discrimination, disparities, and exploitation. Based on the central tenet of Jewish law and tradition “tzedek, tzedek, tirdof” — ”justice, justice you shall pursue,” Bet Tzedek provides legal advocacy grounded in the lived experiences of the communities we serve. Through their network of attorneys and advocates, they provide free comprehensive legal services, education, and policy advocacy to low-income individuals and families across Los Angeles County.
